Premiere date for "Inhabited Island" is finally set - it going to take place on the 29th of December 2008. The second picture is going to be released in the end of April (including May holidays), and not in autumn, as it was planned before. As for the separate version for foreign release, it has been decided no to make one. The case is that, according to western distributors opinion, foreign audience, as well as Russian one, will take dilogy in good part. The only difference is that the first and the second pictures are going to be released in the West with some interval. "We would gladly release pictures with shorter interval, but, unfortunately, the second picture is not ready yet", - says A. Rodnyanskiy.

The date of «Inhabited Island» premiere has changed

It was decided to transfer the premiere of "Inhabited Island" from the 1st of January 2009 to 28th of December 2008. The release date is still going to take place on the 1st of January. Furthermore, the possibility of transferring the release of «Inhabited Island´s» second part from October 2009 to some earlier dates has been discussed.
